After graduating from Tenzin Higher Secondary School (2010), Karma Dema joined the Paro Ta-dzong as a museum assistant in 2012. She has worked on the first inventory of the museum with specific target on iconography of Thangka and statues. At present she is actively involved in researching the iconography. She is proficient in dzongkha language both in written and spoken. She is outspoken and audacious.
