He entered the civil service in 2008 after graduating with a BA in Dzongkha (Hons) and completing a PGDPA in the Dzongkha Development Commission. He was subsequently assigned to the Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development as a Senior Research Officer. He possesses expertise in Dzongkha POS tagging and has conducted various Dzongkha-related research projects. Additionally, he has been honored as a bronze medalist
